Oceania Marine Delivers Second 21M Rebuild for Same Client

Oceania Marine, one of the owners of Energy Vessels Offshore Limited (EVO), has just finished the rebuild of 21M fast passenger ferry ‘Harbour Cat’, the second it has undertaken for the same client. The strip-out was back to bare alloy and included re-powering with twin Yanmar engines and ZF gearboxes. A new interior, passenger seating system, electrics, HVAC, bridge station (in fact replacement of all the vessel systems) was capped off by the application of all new exterior protective coatings. It was completed at Oceania Marine’s North Shipyard, Port Whangarei in it’s large modern construction hall, Shed A.

Harbour Cat will service a busy commuter run on Auckland Harbour, New Zealand.

EVO is due to commence operations at South Shipyard also located close by in Port Whangarei (see Press Release).
